Jane Alver is an Australian development researcher, PhD student and gender equality advocate. Jane has been a women’s rights activist for more than 25 years, at the local, national and global levels. Her PhD research focus is on diverse Pacific feminist civil society forming strategic alliances for gender equality. She is a research fellow at the Centre for Deliberative Democracy and Global Governance and the 50/50 by 2030 Foundation at the University of Canberra. She was named in 2018 in the 100 Woman of Influence by the Australian Financial Review.
