Jasmine Burnley is a development professional with over 15 years experience in policy and management of development and humanitarian programmes, holding positions in Ghana, India, Brussels, Nepal, and Myanmar. Jasmine has worked on policy issues across a range of sectors including responsible investment, natural resource rights, gender, governance and emergency response. For five years, Jasmine was based in Myanmar, where she was Director of Policy for Oxfam, and worked with local and international actors to strengthen civic engagement and contribute to a burgeoning policy landscape. Most recently, Jasmine worked for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), where she was the Head of the Secretariat for the Cooperation Partners Group, a coordination mechanism for bilaterals, IFIs and UN agencies in Myanmar. Jasmine will be taking up a Policy Leaders Fellowship at the European University Institute, Florence in January 2020.
