John Cox

John has worked on DLP’s [Gender and Politics in Practice stream](https://www.dlprog.org/projects/gender-and-politics-in-practice), focusing on women political leaders in the Pacific. His recent monograph, Fast Money Schemes: Hope and Deception in Papua New Guinea (Indiana University Press 2018) explores the dynamics of Christianity, developmental nationalism and financial aspiration among the middle class of Papua New Guinea. John is currently researching climate adaptation in small island states at the University of Melbourne.
