Dr Rosita Armytage is an anthropologist and the lead qualitative researcher on the [‘Islands of Integrity’ project](https://www.thebritishacademy.ac.uk/projects/sustainable-development-islands-integrity-politics-corruption-reduction). She is a Research Fellow at Durham University. Her research interests are elite networking and alliances, class and capitalism, and the informal structures that entrench inequality.
Rosita has thirteen years’ experience as a development practitioner working on governance reform research and projects across Asia and Africa, primarily with The Asia Foundation, the Australian Department for Foreign Affairs and Trade, and the East-West Center.
She has designed, implemented, and evaluated governance reform projects for DFAT, DFID, USAID, the US State Department, DANIDA, and others. She holds a PhD in Anthropology from the Australian National University.
