Seu’ula was born and raised in Tonga. She was educated in New Zealand and in Canada. Seu’ula joined USP in 2004 as a Research Fellow and has been with the Institute of Education since. She is proud to have travelled and served in all but one of the 12 USP member countries. She was given the title Kaumatua Parekura by the House of Ariki from Cook Islands. Her research interests include, educational leadership, education systems in small island states, Pacific traditional knowledge systems and education development work. Seu’ula is married to a school principal, with two children and lives in Tonga.
