Erin is Professor at the Centre for Social Impact at Swinburne University in Melbourne, where she holds the Uniting Kildonan Chair in Community Services Innovation. Her research and community engagement are focused on disability inclusion. She is committed to inclusive and participatory research methods and to ensuring that research is used to inform policy and practice. Her recent research and evaluation have covered employment programs for people with disability; experiences of people with psychosocial disability in accessing the National Disability Insurance Scheme; capacity building of mainstream and community services to include people with disabilities; and human rights priorities of children with disabilities.
