Eka is a researcher and development practitioner with over 20 years’ experience in community development, inclusive education and disability policy. She has worked as a Social Development Specialist for the World Bank where she designed and led the implementation of a disability inclusion program within Indonesia’s nationwide community development program. She has also worked as an adviser to The Asia Foundation and Australian Aid on inclusive development. Most recently, she has been conducting research on livelihoods and access to financial services among people with disability in 8 villages in Yogyakarta, Indonesia as part of her PhD at Melbourne’s Deakin University.
