Tony Hiriasia

Tony Hiriasia is from the province of Malaita in Solomon Islands. He is a PhD candidate at the University of the South Pacific (USP), in Suva, Fiji. Mr. Hiriasia’s research interest is in the areas of elections, voting behaviour and gift giving, and its implications for politics and governance in the Solomon Islands.

His current doctoral thesis is on the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) in the Solomon Islands and its implications for governance, service delivery and development.
