Cucu is an activist and development practitioner with 20 years’ experience working on disability rights issues. She has worked with Organisations for Persons with Disability, local government, international NGOs, international donors and communities to support inclusion in humanitarian response and emergency preparedness, access to justice, mobility and accessibility, and inclusive education. She founded Bandung Independent Living Centre (BILiC) in 2003 to promote and support independent living for people with disability. In 2012 she founded Jakarta Barrier Free Tourism to increase awareness of the rights of people with disability in public spaces.
